Anime 'TANK CHAIR-戦車椅子-' Premieres October, 2026, with Theme Songs by SiM and Daoko

Manabu Yashiro's million-selling action manga hits screens this fall, unveiling its key visual, main trailer, and new cast members Yurina Amami and Gen Sato.

TOKYO, JAPAN, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The anime "TANK CHAIR-戦車椅子-" will premiere on Sunday, October, 2026, on TOKYO MX and other stations across Japan. Ahead of the premiere, the production has unveiled a new key visual, the main trailer, the opening and ending theme artists, and additional cast members. The official website has also held its grand opening.

Serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius, Manabu Yashiro's original manga has surpassed one million copies in circulation worldwide.

■KEY VISUAL
The key visual centers on Nagi Taira, the world's deadliest assassin left unconscious after taking a bullet meant for his younger sister, with Shizuka Taira at his side. Behind them stand Naozumi Kurosaka, a former classmate who harbors a fierce rivalry toward Nagi, and Naozumi's sister and battle partner Touko Kurosaka. Further back are Uzu and Sensei, both shown here for the first time. Sensei's voice actor remains undisclosed for now.

■MAIN TRAILER
Set to the opening theme, SiM's "DALALA," the main trailer is packed with relentless action. Recorded entirely through pre-scoring, the cast's raw performances and the ferocious battles fought from the tank chair itself are not to be missed. As Nagi and Shizuka’s story accelerates through countless fierce battles, keep an eye out for the newly announced characters who play pivotal roles in the narrative—including Uzu (Voiced by Gen Sato) and Dr. Radio (Voiced by Yurina Amami), alongside a colorful cast brought to life by Nobuyuki Hiyama, Hochu Otsuka, and Tetsu Inada!

The opening theme is "DALALA" by SiM, an energetic, high-velocity track that evokes the chaos of this world and the opening of Nagi and Shizuka's battle. The ending theme is "SYNC" by Daoko, a calm song that cradles the afterglow of the fight.
